IU's "You and I", Longest-Running No.1 Song Of The Year

K-pop’s most adorable soloist IU, became the powerhouse of the music industry with the massive success of her latest single "You and I".

According to music website Melon, "You and I" became the longest-running #1 song in 2011. IU's latest track has been killing it in daily charts for 29 days in a row since its release on November 29th and successfully triumphed over LeeSsang’s "Turned Off the TV" with a record of 25 days.

IU also managed to top the charts with all of her singles since "Good Day", "The Story Only I Didn't Know", "Someday", "Hold My Hand", "Ice Flower" and "You and I".

The adorable singer has been kicking serious for the whole year, and even came in #1 with "Good Day" as the song of the year on the 2011 year-end special of KBS Music Bank.
