SNSD Fans Infuriated with "Wild Romance" Line Describing Jessica's Character as a Slut

SNSD’s Jessica made her acting debut last night on the seventh episode of “Wild Romance,” starring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young, where she plays Kang Jong Hee, a beautiful girl with an unpredictable personality. She’s also the unforgettable first love of baseball player Park Mu Yeol (Lee Dong Wook).

After the episode aired, many viewers, especially SNSD fans, expressed their discontent with one of the lines that was used to describe Jessica’s character. In one scene, Seo Yoon Yi (Hong Jong Hyun) questioned Park Mu Yeol, “Park Mu Yeol, have you already forgotten Kang Jong Hee (Jessica)? I heard she was a slut. Is it true that guys try to sleep with her first thing if they get the chance?”

Netizens who’ve seen the drama commented, “Even if it’s just a line from a drama, it’s pretty harsh,” “They should have expressed it differently,” and “This was out of the line. I expected it to be negative but not this severe.” However, several viewers also noted, “It wasn’t used to describe Jessica but the role she’s playing” and “It’s not a big deal. It’s just about Jessica’s character.”

“Wild Romance” received a lot of media attention for casting SNSD’s Jessica, raising viewers and fans’ expectations. As a result, the line raised a lot of eyebrows because it was used to describe Jessica’s character.

Meanwhile, “Wild Romance” recorded 6.2% (AGB Nielsen) viewership rating, a 0.2% drop from last Thursday’s rating. “Wild Romance” will air its eighth episode tonight on KBS at 9:55PM KST.

Super Junior‘s leader Leeteuk has thanked his fans for their continued support of the ‘Dimple Couple’.

On January 20th, Leeteuk uploaded a fan-made image of himself with ‘wife’ Kang Sora on his Twitter. ”Thank you for your support for our 100th day anniversary!“, he wrote.

The photo is from the famous ‘WGM Peppero‘ challenge, a romantic version of the ‘Chicken’ game in which couples chomp away at opposite ends of a shared cookie treat; the test is to see if the couple would share a kiss, and if not, who would break away first?

Leeteuk and Kang Sora were dangerously close to locking lips on live television, but when the moment was almost at hand, Kang Sora backed away with a nervous laugh.

Leeteuk and Kang Sora have been a couple on MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘ since last October, and recently celebrated their 100 days together.

SNSD Takes On T-ara.... In A Game Of Alkkagi?

On MBC’s New Year Special ’2012 Idol Star Alkkagi Championship’, which will be aired at 9.05am KST on January 22nd, Girls’ Generation, T-ara, Super Junior, SHINee, Sistar, Miss A, Rainbow, Infinite and other idol groups vyed for the strongest Alkkagi contestant title based on tournament format.

In the surprise match, ‘Show! Music Core Battle of The Strongest’, MBLAQ faced Prince of Ballad, Lee Hyun while Queens of Kpop, Girls’ Generation took on T-ara in the game of Alkkagi.

In addition to that, Roo’ra’s Go YoungWook went up against Kim JiHyun while H.O.T’s Moon HeeJoon and Tony Ahn played against each other. After the game, the junior idol members pulled off
brilliant performances of H.O.T’s ‘Candy’ and Roo’ra’s ‘Angel Without Wings’.

SNSD's Taeyeon Stuns With A Mature Lingerie Look

A picture of Girls’ Generation ‘kid leader’ Taeyeon sporting a sexy ‘lingerie look’ recently caught the eyes of netizens and fans alike.

The above photos surfaced on various online community sites with the title, ‘Taeyeon wants to break free from her image as a young girl – Her lingerie look‘.

The photos were taken at Girls’ Generation’s first independent Hong Kong concert on the 15th, and both Taeyeon and Tiffany captivated the audience with their phenomenal duet performance, both dressed in sexy ensembles.

Taeyeon who is usually known for her cute image wore a provocative all-black outfit that consisted of a lacy corsette top, thigh-high stockings, and black leather “kill-heel” boots. To finish the look, Taeyeon accented the outfit with lace decor around her waist.

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri has been chosen as the best female idol sporting the “see-through look”.

From December 27th to January 18th, a plastic surgery clinic ran a survey asking the question “Which girl group member looks the best with the ‘see-through look’?”

It was none other than the gorgeous Yuri who took the top spot.

Ahead of this survey, Yuri had garnered the attention of netizens by showing her glamorous body in a see-through dress on a photoshoot for Cosmopolitan’s September issue. In the photo, Yuri gave off her feminine allure in a red and black see-through dress looking sexy, yet refined.

SNSD’s Hyoyeon Wants To Be A Mother Of 5 Children In 10 Years

Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon has revealed that 10 years from now, she sees herself as a mother of five children!

On JTBC‘s upcoming episode of ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys‘, the girls participated in a segment called ‘Reading my Diary from 10 Years Later‘. To everyone’s surprise, Hyoyeon’s diary said, “I feel the birth pains. I think my fourth and fifth babies are on their way“.

Furthermore, Hyoyeon revealed in her diary that in 10 years, she hoped to achieve her long-time dream of becoming a fashion designer. “This is something that I’ve dreamed about ever since I was young. I am proud that I never gave up on achieving this dream,” she wrote.

The January 22nd episode of ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys’ will feature segments of the boys reading from their own diaries, revealing that in 10 years, they would like to perform on stage, turn away from their old lives, and start happy families.

Super Junior's Choi Siwon Embarrassingly Offers His Seat To SNSD's Taeyeon

Super Junior's Siwon was caught in an embarrassing moment, thanks to Kim Min Jong's good manners.

On January 8th, Japanese morning program Mezamashi TV aired videos taken from the concert and press conference for the drama "Athena: Goddess of War", which took place in Tokyo on January 5th.

The full cast of the drama as well as SNSD’s Taeyeon, SHINee, and Super Junior attended the press conference. During the event, the four leads, Cha Seung Won, Soo Ae, Kim Min Jong and Choi Siwon, were seated in chairs while the others stood behind them. Suddenly, Kim Min Jong noticed Taeyeon standing and said to Choi Siwon, "Give your seat to Taeyeon".

Taeyeon, who was a bit surprised refused the offer, but Si Won made everyone laugh by jumping out of his chair the moment he heard Kim Min Jong’s words and gave Taeyeon his seat.

SNSD's Yoona Looks Exhausted At The Airport

Girl group SNSD was seen arriving at the Incheon International Airport on the 13th arriving from Japan. SNSD recently went to Japan to attend the 26th Golden Disk Awards on its second day which was on the 12th of January. SNSD was awarded a daesang for the third consecutive year which is a very huge achievement, however, SNSD's busy schedule seems to be showing on the girl's faces.

SNSD went back and forth to Japan back to Korea, since they have a busy schedule in Korea with various activities. Yoona especially seems to look very tired and exhausted when she arrived Korea.

With their busy schedule let's hope the girls get some well deserved rest.

Next to her is fellow group member Min, who's face is covered by her bangs, and she looks a bit scary...like Sadako from "The Ring." And to the right of the picture is f(x)'s Amber, who's sticking out her tongue and lower lip to make big lips.

Freaky Fan Messages to Nichkhun Prompt JYPE to Issue Warning

The advent of social networking sites like Twitter has made it easier for stars and idols not only to more quickly and effectively reach their audiences, but more importantly to forge closer ties to their fans. However, with celebrities in seemingly easy reach, has Twitter also become a channel for harassment?

JYP Entertainment, through its official Twitter account (@JYPEOfficial) has issued a warning to a Twitter user Whit (@whit_toria) for inappropriate tweets to 2PM’s Nichkhun. JYP Entertainment has threatened to bring the matter to litigation if Whit does not immediately stop tweeting messages to Nichkhun.

Whit appears to be fan of the Khuntoria couple from “We Got Married,” made up of Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria. What prompted JYP’s warning was a series of repeated tweets to Nichkhun saying, “You can’t escape Khuntoria forever,” “You are Victoria’s husband. You are in Khuntoria. This is forever and eternal,” and “Khuntoria will last even after you die.”

JYP’s warning prompted an uncooperative stance from Whit. This far, there are no further developments on the matter.

f(x)'s Victoria to Make Acting Debut with Taiwanese Drama

f(x)’s Victoria has been cast in a Taiwanese drama as its female lead. A source revealed, “Victoria has been cast in ‘The Prince without a Castle’ (tentative). News about hallyu idols taking the lead roles have piqued Taiwanese fans’ expectations.” The drama also stars Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit’s Calvin Chen and Super Junior M’s Zhou Mi. Unlike other Taiwanese dramas that starred hallyu celebrities (Park Shin Hye, Choi Si Won, Park Eun Hye, and Choo Ja Hyun to name a few), this drama will not require dubbing as both Victoria and Zhou Mi are Chinese.

Victoria will play the role of an orphaned girl who is actually a long lost granddaughter for a big corporate company, while Calvin Chen and Zhou Mi are candidates to succeed the company. The three will share a love triangle, and Victoria will have her first on-screen kiss with either one of them.

Meanwhile, Victoria arrived in China last Friday and began filming January 8.

Super Junior's Shindong Takes A Selca At The Top Of A Ski Hill

Super Junior‘s Shindong is enjoying a much-deserved day off by taking on the slopes!

On January 13th, the idol updated his me2day with a selca taken from the top of the hill. He wrote, “I’m snowboarding! Yahoo! The first boarding session of 2012! Now to go down, haha!!”

Fans laughed at Shindong’s bright personality, which was just as loud and energetic on top of a snowy hill as it was on stage. His funky plastic sunglasses and zebra-patterned scarf added an extra zany effect.

SNSD Parties It Up At A Karaoke

SNSD transformed into the wonder girls during a karaoke session. During SNSD’s show on JTBC’s “SNSD and the Dangerous Boys” they had a karaoke session and SNSD taught the boys how to party it up at karaoke.

For the boys that followed the rules, SNSD had a special “course” set up for them and the first stop was karaoke. SNSD sang their own songs like “The Boys” and the Wonder Girls’ “Be My Baby.” It appeared like SNSD was releasing their stress because they were dancing and singing continuously.

However, during the prize “course” one of the boys are dropped. The full episode will be broadcast on January 15.

The unique architectural designs of entertainment agency buildings have become the talk of town.

A post titled “Exteriors of Idol Agency Buildings” has been floating around online with a photo attachment of nine different office fronts, including SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment.

Netizens went on to compare the agency buildings to everyday buildings in Korea, such as town halls and movie theaters.

In one specific post, a netizen commented that if the SM building had a wide front lawn and had the national flag on the building, it would resemble city hall, whereas the YG building resembled a dynamic venture company. As for the JYP building, it resembled a movie theater.

The Cube Entertainment building was compared to a cafe, Loen‘s to a bank, Core Content Media‘s to a study dorm, Starship Entertainment to a villa, and DreamT to a townhouse.
