Girls’ Generation’s Yuri has been chosen as the best female idol sporting the “see-through look”.
From December 27th to January 18th, a plastic surgery clinic ran a survey asking the question “Which girl group member looks the best with the ‘see-through look’?”
It was none other than the gorgeous Yuri who took the top spot.
Ahead of this survey, Yuri had garnered the attention of netizens by showing her glamorous body in a see-through dress on a photoshoot for Cosmopolitan’s September issue. In the photo, Yuri gave off her feminine allure in a red and black see-through dress looking sexy, yet refined.
On the survey, Wonder Girl’s Sohee came in 2nd, and miss A’s Suzy followed in 3rd place.
Wonder Girls‘ Sohee was picked as the top female idol coveted for her secrets to clear, baby-like skin.
As a 2012 New Year’s special event, a Korean skin care clinic surveyed 100 married women in their 20′s to 40′s on the question, “Which idol/girl group member is coveted the most for her baby face secrets?” At the end of the poll, the youngest member of the Wonder Girls received the most votes and placed in first with 46%.
Following Sohee, IU placed second with 31% and After School‘s Kahi placed third with 19%.
The surveyor from the skin care clinic stated, “Some participants of the survey stated that if possible, they would like to have beautiful skin like Sohee’s.” They continued “Currently, Sohee is the top wannabe star that many women desire to be like.”
In related news, the Wonder Girls are patiently waiting to release their U.S. single album, “The DJ is Mine”, on January 12th.
On January 13th, a photo of Wonder Girls featuring Sunye, Yeeun, Yubin, Sohee, Hyelim with former member Sunmi has been posted on an online community titled, "Sunmi is back as a Wonder Girls member? For real or photoshopped?". The photo is currently creating much stir about Sunmi’s possible return.
In the photos, Sunmi incredibly blend in with the Wonder Girls members. Dressed in the same concept for "Wonder World" concept, the photos were believable enough that she will be back soon.
However, a representative of JYP Entertainment announced, "The pictures were photoshopped. Sunmi is currently taking a temporary leave of absence, but she is still part of JYP Entertainment. She has been training at the agency, but she doesn’t have any detailed plans about returning to the entertainment world.
Wonder Girls‘ leader Sunye previously gained headlines for her caring heart and strong leadership by switching out an unstable chair belonging to her groupmate for her own on stage.
The idol gained the nickname, ‘Angel heart’, after a photoset of her bowing a full 90-degrees spread like wildfire on the web.
The images are from the Wonder Girls’ debut period in 2007, and Sunye can be seen bowing formally to thank the audience for their attention after each performance. Other photosets aside from the one shown above were also shared online, and they show that even five years later, Sunye continues to bow in the same way to the audience.
Touched by her refined manners, netizens praised the star for her humble heart. “Truly, a great celebrity and a perfect role model”, “She really does the ‘leader’ title proud”, and “Proud to be a Wonderful!“, they wrote.
Kim Jong Kook is famous for his reign of terror on SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘, where he demolishes his showmates with his inhumane strength and instincts in almost every episode. This repetitive domination has even earned him the title, ‘Korean Spartan’.
It looks like Kim Jong Kook isn’t all that invincible, as he got overpowered by a large group which included SHINee‘s flaming charisma, Minho.
On January 1st, f(x)‘s Sulli, Wonder Girls‘ Sohee, SHINee’s Minho, SUJU‘s Siwon, and SISTAR‘s Hyorin appeared on the show as guests. Four teams were formed between the guests and the showmates: Sulli teamed up with Haha and Gary, Minho and Siwon with Song Ji Hyo, Hyorinwith Kwang Soo and Suk Jin, and Sohee with Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Jong Kook.
A mission called, ‘Arithmetic Race’ was given where participants had to collect several numbers from different locations. With these numbers, participants were required to formulate them so that they equal ‘one’. To accomplish this, the crew had to search for math symbols that were spread all over the SBS studio building.
Unsurprisingly, Kim Jong Kook gathered several of the symbols with the help of keen-eyed Sohee. As time went by, Minho, Siwon, and Ji Hyo plotted to steal the symbols from Kim Jong Kook. When Kim Jong Kook had his guard down, Minho ambushed the Korean Spartan in top speed, holding the muscle man in a bear hug he couldn’t escape from.
Song Ji Hyo and Siwon quickly came to reinforce him and were soon followed by the other two teams. With nine people on top, Kim Jong Kook was absolutely helpless and became a mugging victim. The teams teared off every single symbol on his body, even his name tag.

In the recent ‘Running Man’ recording, Super Junior‘s Siwon, SHINee‘s Minho, Wonder Girls‘Sohee, f(x)‘s Sulli, and SISTAR‘s Hyorin appeared together as a team to compete in the race showdown.
The opening recording was held at the entrance of Gimpo Airport, and the ‘Running Man’ members couldn’t hide their happiness as they greeted the idol stars.
One of the challenges was called the ‘Arithmetic Race’ as it involved finding numbers and math symbols, and combine them to complete the mission.
They were also seen singing at a recording of ‘1000 Songs Challenge‘ at the SBS studio to complete another mission.

SNSD’s Sooyoung and Wonder Girls’ So Hee are currently drawing a lot of attention by wearing the same clothes.
The two stars wore a little black dress, also known as a LBD. A little black dress is a popular item to wear because it can be worn in a variety of atmospheres for different occasions.
So Hee, who is very attractive in both everyday clothes and stage costumes, wore the black dress on MBC’s show Quiz that Changes the World. Her long wavy hair complemented her oxford shoes and accentuated her lovely look.
Sooyoung, however, is well known for her perfect figure. She wore the same black dress when she appeared on Japanese Fuji TV’s Hey Hey Hey. Her long straight hair complemented her calm and innocent look.

As part of its promotions, the homepage for the recent movie ‘Chilling Romance‘ posted an unusual poll this week, asking the question, “Which female idol wouldn’t be scared of ghosts even if they came every day?”
Wonder Girls‘ calm and collected Sohee topped the rankings with 42% of the votes. Following Sohee was SNSD‘s “Ice Queen” Jessica with 26%, KARA‘s Goo Hara with 15%, and T-ara‘s Jiyeon with 14%.
The film ‘Chilling Romance’ is a romantic comedy starring Sohn Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki. The romantic comedy tells a story of Yeori (Sohn Ye Jin), who sees ghosts after nearly dying, and Jogoo (Lee Min Ki), a magician, teaming up with Yeori.
