[Spoiler] SHINee’s Minho Overpowers Kim Jong Kook On ‘Running Man’

Kim Jong Kook is famous for his reign of terror on SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘, where he demolishes his showmates with his inhumane strength and instincts in almost every episode. This repetitive domination has even earned him the title, ‘Korean Spartan’.

It looks like Kim Jong Kook isn’t all that invincible, as he got overpowered by a large group which included SHINee‘s flaming charisma, Minho.

On January 1st, f(x)‘s Sulli, Wonder Girls‘ Sohee, SHINee’s Minho, SUJU‘s Siwon, and SISTAR‘s Hyorin appeared on the show as guests. Four teams were formed between the guests and the showmates: Sulli teamed up with Haha and Gary, Minho and Siwon with Song Ji Hyo, Hyorinwith Kwang Soo and Suk Jin, and Sohee with Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Jong Kook.

A mission called, ‘Arithmetic Race’ was given where participants had to collect several numbers from different locations. With these numbers, participants were required to formulate them so that they equal ‘one’. To accomplish this, the crew had to search for math symbols that were spread all over the SBS studio building.

Unsurprisingly, Kim Jong Kook gathered several of the symbols with the help of keen-eyed Sohee. As time went by, Minho, Siwon, and Ji Hyo plotted to steal the symbols from Kim Jong Kook. When Kim Jong Kook had his guard down, Minho ambushed the Korean Spartan in top speed, holding the muscle man in a bear hug he couldn’t escape from.

Song Ji Hyo and Siwon quickly came to reinforce him and were soon followed by the other two teams. With nine people on top, Kim Jong Kook was absolutely helpless and became a mugging victim. The teams teared off every single symbol on his body, even his name tag.

Siwon, Minho, Sohee, Sulli, and Hyorin To Appear On ‘Running Man’

In the recent ‘Running Man’ recording, Super Junior‘s Siwon, SHINee‘s Minho, Wonder Girls‘Sohee, f(x)‘s Sulli, and SISTAR‘s Hyorin appeared together as a team to compete in the race showdown.

The opening recording was held at the entrance of Gimpo Airport, and the ‘Running Man’ members couldn’t hide their happiness as they greeted the idol stars.

One of the challenges was called the ‘Arithmetic Race’ as it involved finding numbers and math symbols, and combine them to complete the mission.

They were also seen singing at a recording of ‘1000 Songs Challenge‘ at the SBS studio to complete another mission.

IU Gets Spotted Filming For Upcoming ‘Running Man’ Special

IU has been spotted filming for SBS‘s hit show ‘Running Man‘!

Earlier today, news of IU’s special guest appearance on the show spread like wildfire as photos were posted onto an online community. In the photos, IU is seen asking a passerby for help. In an additional photo, actor Lee Chun Hee is seen with Lee Kwang Soo at a restaurant.

The show’s producer, Cho Hyo Jin, revealed through an interview, “We finished filming in Yeoju today. As soon as IU showed up, our male castmates became overwhelmed with joy… The ‘Running Man’ members were not the only ones excited about her appearance. Our male guest was also focused on her as well… IU seems to be the best these days.”

Cho continued, “We filmed an ‘Actors Special’ episode with Lee Chun Hee, Joo Sang Wook, Kim Sung Soo, and Ji Jin Hee. The concept of the episode is ‘Killers’ Talk’.”

‘Running Man’ To Air “Actors Who Will Light Up 2012″ Special

The latest guests for popular SBS variety program, ‘Running Man‘ have been revealed via SNS (Social Networking Services) in Korea after fans spotted the crew recording in Yeosu city in South Jeolla Province.

Initially, news had spread that actor, Jo In Sung would be appearing after furious exchanges on SNS by netizens but it was later rebutted by Jo’s agency who expressed that he was actually at home.

Further clarification came from the PD of Running Man who revealed that the actual guests were actorsJi Jin Hee, Joo Sang Wook, Lee Chun Hee, and Kim Sung Soo. The concept of the episode would be “Actors who will light up 2012” and will air in mid January 2012 over two Sundays.

[Spoiler: Running Man] HaHa enjoys his newlywed life with Taeyeon

The October 9th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘ continued where they left off last week with the relay race between SNSD and the ‘Running Man’ members.

Before they began their official mission, the two groups were asked to pick a member from the other team to switch members with. SNSD chose HaHa while the ‘Running Man’ team chose Jessica. Haha and Taeyeon paired up with Gary and Jessica to head off to a nearby mart to buy ingredients for their dish.

HaHa was unable to hide his joy at being partnered with Taeyeon and immediately began acting like a newlywed husband, showing off their couple ring any chance he got. They also affectionately called each other by their nicknames, ‘Bbungbbungi’ and ‘Bbungsuni’.

HaHa even went up to a mart employee and proudly stated, “We promise to live happily!”

Upon meeting Jessica and Gary in the mart, HaHa jokingly asked, “You’re the couple that lives in the floor under us, right?” Gary surprised everyone into a fit of laughter by retorting, “I’m just going to eat dinner with her and leave.”
