3 KOREAN FOODS I'D LIKE TO TRY 

3 Makanan Korea yang Ingin Saya Coba

I heard that Korean foods have a lot of nutrition. Besides it, Korean foods are delicious and unique. Most of them consists of vegetables. As we know before, vegetables have a lot of nutrition, vitamins, and fibers. And the fact is, that Korean foods usually use vegetables for it. 

Saya sudah pernah mendengar bahwa makanan Korea mengandung begitu banyak nutrisi, vitamin, dan serat yang sungguh berguna bagi tubuh manusia, karena biasanya makanan Korea terdiri dari sayur-mayur. Tapi jangan pernah bayangkan bahwa makanan Korea tidak lezat (karena terdiri dari sayur-mayur). Makanan Korea juga sudah terbukti sangat lezat. Selain itu, makanan Korea juga sangat unik, baik dari jenis makanan, penyajian, hingga rasanya.

Those are Korean foods. Looks so delicious, right? And then, I'm going to tell you which Korean foods I'd really like to try :)

Itu semua adalah makanan Korea. Makanan itu sungguh terlihat sangat enak, benar begitu bukan? Nah, sekarang, saya akan memberi tahu anda semua makanan Korea mana yang sangat ingin saya coba :)

1. 삼겹살 - Samgyupsal

Samgyupsal! Yes I really want to try this kind of foods! Samgyupsal is a large slice of pork belly, and cut into a small slices. People usually consume samgyupsal in this way: place a slice of cooked meat on a leaf of lettuce, then put some cooked rice, roll it up, and then eat it! 

Samgyupsal! Ya, saya sangat ingin mencoba makanan ini! Samgyupsal adalah sebuah daging babi besar yang dipotong-potong menjadi beberapa potongan kecil. Orang-orang biasanya memakan samgyupsal dengan cara: menempatkan sepotong daging yang sudah matang keatas selembar daun selada, lalu tambahkan sedikit nasi, gulung daun selada itu, dan makanlah~

A member of a girl group, f(x)'s Victoria like samgyupsal so much! She told it in her variety show We Got Married with her "husband", 2PM's Nichkhun. And the fact is, they ate samgyupsal on the first day they met!

Seorang dari sebuah grup perempuan, Victoria f(x) sangat menyukai samgyupsal. Dia pernah mengatakannya bersama "suami"nya di variety show yang ia lakukan, We Got Married. Dan kenyataannya, mereka memakan samgyupsal pada hari pertama mereka bertemu!

2. 냉면 - Naengmyun

Naengmyun means cold noodles. In fact, naengmyun is noodles that served with cold sauce and vinegar. Usually served in stainless bowl, with slices of cucumbers, Korean pears, boiled egg, and boiled meat. 

Naengmyun berarti mie dingin. Faktanya, naengmyun adalah mie yang disajikan dengan kuah dingin dan cuka. Biasanya disajikan dengan mangkuk besi (yang biasanya tahan karat), dengan irisan ketimun, pir Korea, telur rebus, dan daging rebus.

Naengmyun is originally from North Korea, especially in Pyongyang and Hamhung. Naengmyun became widely popular after the Korean War. The picture above is naengmyun in North Korea.

Naengmyun berasal dari Korea Utara, terutama di kota Pyongyang dan Hamhung. Naengmyun menjadi sangat populer setelah perang antara Korea Utara dengan Korea Selatan. Gambar di atas itu adalah naengmyun di Korea Utara.

Besides it, naengmyun also have a lot of varieties. Mul naengmyun and bibim naengmyun are the varities.

Selain itu, naengmyun juga memiliki banyak variasi. Mul naengmyun dan bibim naengmyun adalah variasinya.

3. 순두부찌개 - Soondubu Jjigae

Soondubu jjigae is one of Korean foods that I want to try. Soondubu Jjigae consists of fish, a little beef, tofu, chilli, and egg. And don't forget, vegetables also available in soondubu jjigae.

Soondubu jjigae adalah salah satu makanan Korea yang sangat ingin saya coba. Soondubu jjigae terdiri dari daging ikan segar, sedikit daging sapi, tahu sutra, cabai (biasanya berupa bubuk), dan telur. Tidak lupa, sayur-sayuran juga ada di dalam soondubu jjigae ini.

I heard that soondubu jjigae is the most delicious dish in Korea. I don't know the truth cause I haven't eat it yet. Soondubu jjigae is spicy, so I want to try it :D

Saya dengar bahwa soondubu jjigae adalah makanan paling enak di Korea. Saya tidak tahu kebenarannya karena saya memang belum pernah memakannya. Yang pasti, soondubu jjigae itu makanan pedas, dan saya sangat ingin mencobanya.

Leeteuk Thanks Fans For Supporting The 100th Day Of His ‘Marriage’

Super Junior‘s leader Leeteuk has thanked his fans for their continued support of the ‘Dimple Couple’.

On January 20th, Leeteuk uploaded a fan-made image of himself with ‘wife’ Kang Sora on his Twitter. ”Thank you for your support for our 100th day anniversary!“, he wrote.

The photo is from the famous ‘WGM Peppero‘ challenge, a romantic version of the ‘Chicken’ game in which couples chomp away at opposite ends of a shared cookie treat; the test is to see if the couple would share a kiss, and if not, who would break away first?

Leeteuk and Kang Sora were dangerously close to locking lips on live television, but when the moment was almost at hand, Kang Sora backed away with a nervous laugh.

Leeteuk and Kang Sora have been a couple on MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘ since last October, and recently celebrated their 100 days together.

Netizens who saw this photo wrote, “The longer I look at this photo, the more and more jealous I get!” and “Such a cute couple!”

Freaky Fan Messages to Nichkhun Prompt JYPE to Issue Warning

The advent of social networking sites like Twitter has made it easier for stars and idols not only to more quickly and effectively reach their audiences, but more importantly to forge closer ties to their fans. However, with celebrities in seemingly easy reach, has Twitter also become a channel for harassment?

JYP Entertainment, through its official Twitter account (@JYPEOfficial) has issued a warning to a Twitter user Whit (@whit_toria) for inappropriate tweets to 2PM’s Nichkhun. JYP Entertainment has threatened to bring the matter to litigation if Whit does not immediately stop tweeting messages to Nichkhun.

Whit appears to be fan of the Khuntoria couple from “We Got Married,” made up of Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria. What prompted JYP’s warning was a series of repeated tweets to Nichkhun saying, “You can’t escape Khuntoria forever,” “You are Victoria’s husband. You are in Khuntoria. This is forever and eternal,” and “Khuntoria will last even after you die.”

JYP’s warning prompted an uncooperative stance from Whit. This far, there are no further developments on the matter.

Kara's Seung Yeon, After School's Lizzy, SISTAR's Hyorin and Secret's Sun Hwa Cast in "We Got Married" Dating Spin-off

“Exciting Shake,” the spin-off dating equivalent of popular MBC's “We Got Married,” is said to have cast its idol participants. Local news agencies reporedt that Kara’s Han Seung Yeon, After School’s Lizzy,SISTAR’s Hyorin and Secret’s Han Sun Hwa are the female cast members in the four couples intended for the show.

As earlier reported, “Exciting Shake” is the new dating show that “We Got Married” creator, PD Jeon Sung Ho is piloting on the Lunar New Year weekend. The concept of the show is similar to “We Got Married,” where celebrities are paired up with each other to create a simulated dating relationship.

“The main cast has finished shooting. The atmosphere was pleasant while shooting was in progress,” Jeon Sung Ho said in a statement. “The couples seem to be able to produce interesting stories.”

While the female cast members have been revealed, their male counterparts are still kept under wraps. Jeon Sung Ho only revealed, “There will be a mix of actors and singers.”

He was forthcoming in his impressions of the girl group members in the cast, though. “Han Seung Yeon shows a strong, feminine feel in love. Hyorin is cool in sporty activities. Lizzy will show a different side to her aside from her famous accent.”

“Exciting Shake” pilots with the four couples performing a variety of challenges on the field. The producers believe the activities will help the participants get a sense of accomplishment and sets the stage for connection between the couples.

“Exciting Shake” airs its pilot episode on MBC on the Lunar New Year weekend.

Lee Jang Woo Plants A Kiss On Eunjung For Her 24th Birthday

On the January 7th episode of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘, Lee Jang Woo enlisted the help of his fellow actors 김윤성 (Kim Yoon Sung) and 천정명 (Chun Jung-Myung) to surprise his wife Eunjung for her 24th birthday.

Eunjung arrived on the set to watch Lee Jang Woo film for his final part in the KBS2TV drama ‘Glory Jane‘. Upon her arrival, Chun Jung-Myung yelled at Lee Jang Woo in front of Eunjung which made the atmosphere on set feel quite awkward and also made Eunjung feel a bit upset. Of course, this was all planned out beforehand. While Eunjung & Lee Jang Woo were arguing, both Kim Yoon Sung and Chun Jung-Myung brought out a big cake to surprise Eunjung. This quickly lifted the mood and surprised Eunjung who seemed quite happy by the surprise.

While holding the cake in front of Eunjung & Lee Jang Woo, both Kim Yoon Sung and Chun Jung-Myung asked for Eunjung to kiss Lee Jang Woo. While Lee Jang Woo was quite eager for the kiss saying that it’s a great idea, Eunjung was a bit hesitant. After some bickering back & forth, Chun Jung-Myung said it should be a man’s duty to kiss, Lee Jang Woo then puckered up and kissed Eunjung on the side of her cheek.

More Super Junior Members To Join ‘We Got Married’

MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘ has announced that they will be switching out their current couples.

In a recent recording, Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk, Donghae, Sungmin, and Kyuhyun had a blind date with four actresses to decide who the next couple will be.

A representative of MBC revealed, “We’re not sure how many new couples are going to be added, but two pairs became a couple from the blind date. We’ll be showing the dating process before they join the show as an official couple.”

The representative continued, “With the addition of these new couples, I think that we will be switching out the original couples as well. The Park So Hyun-Kim Won Joon couple and Lee Jang Woo-Ham Eunjung couple will soon be departing from the show.”

Leeteuk and Kang Sora are also on the departing list since Kang Sora has ‘Dream High 2‘ recordings to focus on, while Leeteuk is preparing for military enlistment this year.

A producer of ‘We Got Married’ stated, “The response towards the current couples aren’t bad at all. We know that adding in a bunch of new couples will be looked on upon badly so we’re going to start right from the beginning and see how it goes from there. The exact time frame of when we’ll be switching out the couples has yet to be decided.”

Super Junior's Leeteuk and His Wife, Kang Sora Move In Together On We Got Married

After four long months, the Leeteuk and Kang Sora couple of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘ have finally received their own newlywed home!

This week’s episode features footage of the couple moving into their new apartment after signing their contracts. Since this is their first home together, the couple was quick to lay down some ground rules.

Leeteuk and Kang Sora came up with a list of 10 rules that they must abide by. Some of the rules included contacting the other person when leaving the house, splitting cleaning duties, and making sure all fights get resolved before the day is over.

The two also go furniture shopping for their new home, playing up the fact that they’re a couple to the full extent while they’re there.

Additionally, the couple had a fun scene together on the bed. After having some fun, Leeteuk left the bed and stated he couldn’t do this and had to get off the bed saying that there could be a big problem. Leeteuk looked at his body and said I’m a man which caused Kang Sora to feel a bit embarrassed and laugh. Leeteuk jokingly asked Kang Sora not to play games like this anymore.

Lee Jang Woo Holds Surprise Party For T-ara’s Eunjung

Lee Jang Woo, who are appearing on MBC’s We Got Married with T-ara’s Ham Eunjung as an imaginary couple, held a surprise party for Ham’s birthday.

In the January 7 episode of the show, Lee plans to surprise Ham with actors Chun Jung Myung and Kim Yoon Sung at the set for the TV series Glory Jae In.

On January 6, the production crew for the series said that Ham visited the set to see Lee. The three actors were excited to deceive Ham.

Lee, Chun, and Kim are usually close to each other but they started making threatening looks that day to deceive Ham.

However, their hastily constructed plan does not go well. They were almost caught by Ham, who is ready-witted. Even though the three men were clumsy about deceiving Ham, they gave her a special memory by holding a surprise birthday party.

Which SNSD Member Was Jealous Of Seohyun’s Coupling With Jung Yong Hwa For ‘We Got Married’?

On December 8th, the ladies of SNSD were the guest on Mnet‘s “Beatles Code” and was asked if any member was ever jealous of another member.

To that question SNSD’s Taeyeon answered, “I was also a guest on MBC’s ‘We Got Married’ but the man I was married to was a totally different person. It’s hard to be on a variety show with friends that have similar ages so I was quite jealous of Seohyun”.

Seohyun and CN BLUE‘s Jong Yong Hwa got together as a fictional couple and were one of the most popular couples on ‘We Got Married’. They were labeled the “Sweet Potato Couple”, however, back in 2009, Taeyeon was paired up with old comedian Jung Hyung Don and they were known as the “Pudding and Jelly Couple”.

It seems Taeyeon wanted to have a husband that was young and handsome like Jong Yong Hwa. If you were on the show who would you want to be paired up with?

WGM’s Lee Jang Woo and Eunjung Couple “Disciplines” Kang Sora?

On the end-of-year special recording of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married’, the show captured the stars arriving one by one, and greeting one another as they entered the waiting room.

Out of the three couples, the first to arrive was Lee Jang Woo. The next person to arrive was not his wife Eunjung, but Leeteuk‘s wife Kang Sora.

It was the first time the two had met in person, and due to the absence of their respective spouses, the two stars were so awkward they could not even make eye contact. They merely exchanged formal greetings.

While Kang Sora and Lee Jang Woo were exchanging awkward laughter in place of a conversation, Eunjung finally arrived and more so than any other time, Lee Jang Woo enthusiastically welcomed her.

Lee Jang Woo and Eunjung learned that Kang Sora was a hoobae from their school and major, and seized control of the situation as they joked about disciplining her through a traditional ‘initiation’.

The awkward and nervous first meeting of ‘We Got Married’s three couples can be seen on the upcoming December 24th broadcast.
