Secret’s Hyosung Scares Fans With No Makeup Photo

On January 13, Secret’s Hyosung scared her fans with a sweet message and photo!

“I’m heading back to Korea now. Who is that person in the photo that looks totally different from yesterday? Did you know? Today is Friday the 13^th. And October 13, 1989, the day I was born was also a Friday. I don’t care about that stuff, but I might be a scary person,” Hyosung wrote on her Twitter.

In the photo, Hyosung is seen without any makeup, winking at the camera with an adorable smile. Her innocent impression is in stark contrast to her face on stage where she normally appears with heavy makeup on.

Netiznes who saw the photo commented, “I think she looks cuter with no makeup, “She looks like a middle school student,” and “Hyosung’s a scary person!”

Meanwhile, Hyosung was in Japan for the 26^th “Golden Disk Awards.” Secret won the “Digital Bonsang,” alongside G.NA, miss A, CN Blue, K-Will, SISTAR, 4minute, and SNSD.

“Exciting Shake,” the spin-off dating equivalent of popular MBC's “We Got Married,” is said to have cast its idol participants. Local news agencies reporedt that Kara’s Han Seung Yeon, After School’s Lizzy,SISTAR’s Hyorin and Secret’s Han Sun Hwa are the female cast members in the four couples intended for the show.

As earlier reported, “Exciting Shake” is the new dating show that “We Got Married” creator, PD Jeon Sung Ho is piloting on the Lunar New Year weekend. The concept of the show is similar to “We Got Married,” where celebrities are paired up with each other to create a simulated dating relationship.

“The main cast has finished shooting. The atmosphere was pleasant while shooting was in progress,” Jeon Sung Ho said in a statement. “The couples seem to be able to produce interesting stories.”

While the female cast members have been revealed, their male counterparts are still kept under wraps. Jeon Sung Ho only revealed, “There will be a mix of actors and singers.”

He was forthcoming in his impressions of the girl group members in the cast, though. “Han Seung Yeon shows a strong, feminine feel in love. Hyorin is cool in sporty activities. Lizzy will show a different side to her aside from her famous accent.”

“Exciting Shake” pilots with the four couples performing a variety of challenges on the field. The producers believe the activities will help the participants get a sense of accomplishment and sets the stage for connection between the couples.

“Exciting Shake” airs its pilot episode on MBC on the Lunar New Year weekend.

Secret's Song Ji Eun Reveals Teaser for "I Am Cold"

SECRET’s Song Ji Eun Released the teaser for the song “I Am Cold” which is a part of the OST for the “Take Care of Us, Captain” drama. The song will be released on January 18.

“Take Care of Us, Captain” revolves around the lives of people in the airline industry. The story revolves around Pilots and stewardesses. The drama adds in more realism and the set cost nearly $800,000 to build.

The female lead “Da Jin” (Goo Hye Sun) has the dream of becoming a pilot. The drama shows the different episodes that occur in her life as she pursues becoming a pilot. Her father who was also a pilot had to go through the hardship of caring about the passengers of a flight when Da Jin’s sister was born mid-flight while Da Jin’s mother had passed away during child birth. Da Jin meets another captain “Yoon Sung” and begins her journey of becoming a flight captain once again. 

Secret’s Hyo Seong Tries Hard To Attend Awards Ceremony

Secret’s Jeon Hyo Seon is currently trying her best to attend the end of the year awards ceremonies even after her leg injury.

On December 28, Secret’s agency said that Jeon is trying hard to give a wonderful performance at the ‘SBS Gayo Daejeon.’

Jeon fell down a flight of stairs while leaving her house last month. The cartilage in her left knee was injured and she fractured her right foot.

TS Entertainment says, “Even though Jeon’s legs were injured and it took 6 to 8 weeks to heal, she is practicing hard to give a great performance for her fans. She is doing her best to heal her legs so that she can attend the ceremony.”

A doctor, who is currently caring for Jeon, says, “She has a strong will and it will help her legs make a speedy recovery. I think she will able to attend the end of the year awards ceremonies.”

Secret Are Chosen As Honorary Ambassadors For Korea Consumer Forum

Girl group Secret are chosen as honorary ambassadors for Korea Consumer Forum.

On December 28 at 2:00 p.m, the committee of Korea Consumer Brand chose Secret as honorary ambassadors for Korea Consumer Forum at Guro D Cube City in Seoul.

Secret revealed, “We heard that the event will spread the top Korea brands worldwide. We’re honored to attend this event as a consumer.”

After being entitled as honorary ambassadors, Secret held a performance for the upcoming Spot Poll in celebration for Korea 2012 First Brand’s 10th Anniversary. Five hundred consumers, who have gathered up for the spot poll, responded with cheers and thunderous applause.

Secret performed their hit song “Starlight Moonlight” and “Love is Move.” Jeon Hyo Seong, who has an injured knee also appeared and attracted attention. Previously on December 24, Hyo Seong revealed that she has gotten a lot better on MBC’s Show! Music Center.

A spot poll was held at Korea 2012 First Brands. The chosen brand will receive the grand prize on the upcoming 2012 Korea First Brands which will take place on February 9.

Korea Consumer Brand was established in 2003 to spread Korea’s brands with consumers. Through this award, many outstanding brands were discovered and awarded.

SECRET has shared a new photo update that looks straight out of a professional pictorial!

On December 22nd, the girls updated their official fancafe with the message, “The start is SECRET, and the end is SECRET!”

Taken during their stay in Paris for the ‘Korea Brand Entertainment Expo‘, the girls look effortlessly stylish in their winter coats and fur-lined jackets, along with boots of various lengths. More than anything, fans were happy to see that Hyosung‘s legs had healed, as she’d been seen wearing a cast for most of her activities over the past month.

SECRET Share Their Thoughts on SNSD’s ‘The Boys’ MV

Group SECRET recently shared their thoughts on SNSD‘s newest MV release for ‘The Boys‘.

Through an interview with OSEN, the girls remarked that they saw the newly released MV today and they all agreed, “It was pretty awesome.”

Sunhwa exclaimed, “They all look really pretty in it. SNSD never disappoints!” and gave it a thumbs up.

Ji Eun also remarked,  ”We actually have the same MV director as SNSD. He’s been working with us since our debut, but he chose to film their MV first… Director, do your like the SNSD unnis better than us?” she joked.

Hyosung added, “It’s an honor just to be performing on the same stage as them. We will think of this as a great opportunity and work harder.”

SECRET has just released their full album ‘MOVING IN SECRET‘ along with the MV for ‘Love is Move‘ while SNSD released their album ‘The Boys‘ on the 19th.
